I just added a new project report to our database that we just received from
Nasser Brahim. Nasser was a student at
Florida International University several years ago who received research funding from
GLOWS. He has since moved on from FIU and is getting ready to complete his graduate degree at
Yale University. Check out his informative report on the
best local farming practices in the mid-lower catchment of the Amalo River.

Thanks for sharing! I really enjoyed Brahim's report and the focus on local knowledge production (or indigenous knowledge, IK, as some cultural anthropologists are currently trending...). I'm often surprised at the dearth of attention to local knowledge production in policy relevant documents! I'll definitely be thinking about some of this as I move through my research in Vietnam!
