Mombasa!

We spent a few days two weeks ago at the Voyager Resort in Mombasa. I know...big resorts aren't usually our "thing" but we got a great deal on an all-inclusive package. The only bad part about that was that we didn't get out to see much in the city. We actually only left the resort once...and that was to Bob's bar down the street to meet with a business colleague. We do plan on going back to Mombasa to check out the sights sometime in the near future.

Here are a bunch of pictures from our time there:

Having the all-inclusive package also allowed us to ride on a catamaran, go snorkeling, and eat as much as we wanted. :) We also ended up finding a pretty good number of lizards on the grounds of the resort.

An interesting observation from our short time there....the Mombasa "beach boys" really are out in full force.

It was amazing. Beautiful but also shows how difficult some areas can be. Those living in America should realize how lucky we are.
I refer to the resource of clean water. A resource we take for granted but still need to take care of.
Thank you for this blogspot.
